Rental Property Number 19 Has Been Purchased (My 3rd Commercial Rental)

Last week, I bought my third rental property of the year and my 19th rental overall. I have sold a couple of my rentals and do not currently own 19, but I have bought 19 houses that were or will be rentals for at least a couple of years. I have 20 flips going at the moment as well, three of which are rented out, but I am not counting those as rentals since I plan to sell them within one year of buying them. Should You Obtain Building Permits when Flipping Houses?

I have repaired a lot of houses in my career, whether they were rentals, flips, or even bank-owned properties that I listed. Depending on the quantity and type of work you do, you may be required to get a building permit from the city or county the property is located in. The tricky part about building permits is every city and county requires something different for when a building permit is needed. They also have different processes for getting the permits, inspections, and completion of permits. Why Are Most People Bad at Investing?

Most people want to be able to retire, and maybe even retire early. Part of planning for retirement involves learning how to invest your money, not just how to earn it. We spend years learning what we should do for work. We go to school, get a degree, or spend years learning a trade. Many people work very hard to earn an income, but most people spend very little time learning how to invest their money. Most of our lives involves preparation for joining the workforce. How Much Money Do You Have to Make to Be Rich?

I recently started answering questions on a site called Quora. There are many questions about money and what it takes to be rich as well as what is considered rich. Most of the questions center around how much money someone needs to make each year to be rich. I think being rich is not about how much money you make per year, but instead it’s a question of how much financial freedom you have. Is Private Mortgage Note Investing Safe?
